N. Korea's Kim calls for modernizing ideological tactics

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has urged party officials to modernize the country's propaganda and ideological campaign, according to state media. At the party's third workshop for officials in the information sector, Kim outlined key issues and tasks for updating the contents, methods, and means of ideological work, as reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

Kim emphasized the need for innovations in information and motivation work, as well as the creation of new cultures that align with the times, the revolution, and the people's expectations. The four-day workshop, which concluded on Monday, focused on ideological education centered around Kim's revolutionary ideas and the party's revolutionary relics and leadership exploits.

Attendees were urged to intensify the information and publicity offensive to motivate the masses to implement the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, tailoring ideological efforts to individual sectors and units.
