Mohsin Nawaz Vows to Bring Mental Strength Revolution in Pakistan’s Sports

Pakistan's renowned F-Class long-range shooter and sports psychologist, Mohsin Nawaz, has committed himself to revolutionizing the mental fortitude of the nation's athletes. He asserts that mental conditioning should be integrated as a fundamental component of Pakistan's quest for international sporting supremacy. As Pakistan's inaugural official Sports Psychologist at the 6th World Nomad Games 2026, and recipient of the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz and Lifetime Achievement Award, Mohsin is tirelessly campaigning for a nationwide transition towards psychological resilience, emotional regulation, and performance optimization along with physical training.

Mohsin posits that Pakistani athletes need structured mental preparation to translate their inherent capabilities into triumphant performances at major international platforms. His methodology focuses on pressure management, stress and anxiety alleviation, goal setting, visualization, and simulated-pressure training, allowing athletes to practice in competition-like conditions, cultivating composure, focus, and confidence when confronting unfamiliar settings.

He emphasizes that rather than striving to remove competitive pressure, the primary objective should be to provide athletes with practical tools to manage it and maintain focus on execution, drawing from his expertise in F-Class long-range shooting.

His international standing is underscored by his high-profile roles as an official Brand Ambassador for Kahles Optics and Peregrine Bullets, and his collaboration with the HawkSmith Gun & Sporting Club. In line with this vision, Mohsin is spearheading a nationwide initiative in partnership with HawkSmith, aimed at constructing advanced shooting and sports facilities in Pakistan.

This project seeks to promote a structured, professional sports lifestyle among the nation's youth, offering contemporary infrastructure and athletic development avenues for future generations.
