Mamdani again pans Netanyahu as ‘architect of genocide,’ after cordial meeting with Trump

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and President Donald Trump met at Gracie Mansion on Monday, holding a "productive" conversation about the status of Haitian immigrants in the US. Trump acknowledged the mayor's concerns but made no commitment, stating he feels strongly about taking care of people. The two agreed to begin technical discussions on financing and federal authorization for a residential development project in Queens, which would include about 12,000 homes and 30,000 jobs.

Despite their current friendly relationship, Mamdani and Trump's interactions remain volatile, with Trump previously targeting Mamdani as a "communist" and accusing him of "DESTROYING New York" with his mayoral efforts to increase taxes on wealthy residents.
