Leaders of Korea, Australia meet on sidelines of UN General Assembly

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung met with Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Tuesday. Albanese highlighted the parallel values and friendship between South Korea and Australia, both of which champion multilateralism and security while fostering robust economic and energy supply sector cooperation. The Australian Prime Minister extended an invitation for President Lee to visit Australia during the first half of next year.
