Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia introduced EXOBOT, the initial electric vehicles from CEER, the nation's automotive entity, signifying a significant stride in the Kingdom's initiative to establish a domestic car sector and bolster manufacturing as a crucial element of economic diversification. The EXOBOT sedan and SUV mark the commencement of a projected lineup of seven automobile models that CEER plans to unveil within the next five years.

Both models have been meticulously crafted and engineered within the Kingdom, with design elements inspired by Saudi Arabia's terrain, customs, and national identity. Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who serves as the Chairman of the Public Investment Fund (PIF), expressed that the launch of CEER's inaugural vehicles signals another milestone in Saudi Arabia's journey towards constructing a sustainable and prosperous industrial landscape.

He emphasized that this move will further solidify the automotive sector as a primary catalyst for economic expansion by drawing investment, nurturing Saudi talent, and amplifying the private sector's influence, while concurrently supporting the Kingdom's aspiration to emerge as a prominent regional and global automotive center.

The forthcoming range of CEER vehicles will comprise midsize and compact cars, alongside various propulsion systems to cater to a diverse spectrum of consumer preferences. Manufactured at CEER's Manufacturing Complex, touted as the largest automotive production facility in the Middle East and among the most technologically sophisticated globally, the company anticipates that these endeavors will inject over SR30 billion ($8 billion) into Saudi Arabia's gross domestic product by 2034 and exceed SR80 billion ($21 billion) into the Kingdom's trade surplus, while simultaneously generating both direct and indirect employment opportunities.

CEER was established by PIF in 2022 as Saudi Arabia's inaugural national automotive brand, as part of the government's endeavors to create a local automotive ecosystem, lure investment, forge private-sector prospects, and augment the industry's contribution to the economy.
