Hornets send Dorian Finney-Smith to Atlanta for Buddy Hield, Ryan Nembard, AP source says

The Atlanta Hawks traded guards Buddy Hield and Ryan Nembhard, along with cash, to the Charlotte Hornets for forward Dorian Finney-Smith, according to a source. The trade deal has not yet been approved by the league, but the Atlanta team secured Finney-Smith and three second-round draft picks from Houston earlier in the offseason.

Finney-Smith spent the previous season with Houston but had limited playing time, while the Rockets were looking to offload his contract. Hield played 51 games with the Warriors and Hawks last season, averaging 7.6 points per game. Nembhard appeared in 60 games for the Warriors last season, contributing 6.6 points and 5.3 assists per game.
