Emir of Jazan leads 96th Saudi National Day celebrations

Emir of Jazan Mohammed bin Abdulaziz presided over the region's 96th Saudi National Day festivities at the Prince Sultan Cultural Center in Jazan city on Tuesday evening. The celebrations, held to mark the 96th anniversary of the Kingdom's founding, showcased a rich tapestry of Saudi heritage and modern achievements. During his tour of the exhibition, the Emir observed a collection of photographs chronicling the reigns of Saudi kings, accompanied by patriotic displays that highlighted the nation's founding, growth, and accomplishments in diverse sectors.

The event featured a recital of traditional poetry, a theatrical performance titled "تحكي عز," a national operetta called "Master of Nations," and displays of traditional folk art. The festivities concluded with the Saudi Ardah dance, an event in which the Emir took part, blending cultural traditions with expressions of national pride.

The celebration drew local residents dressed in national attire, waving Saudi flags and enthusiastically participating in the songs, poetry, and folk performances. The event underscored the profound significance of the occasion, as people expressed their pride in the Kingdom's history, achievements, unity, and ongoing progress under the leadership of the nation's rulers.
