Dubai Fountain shows suspended until further notice

Dubai's iconic Dubai Fountain has been put on hold indefinitely, with no set date for resuming its enchanting performances, according to Gulf News. The popular waterfront attraction, located in Downtown Dubai, has been temporarily shut down without providing a reason or estimated reopening timeframe. A spokesperson for Dubai Parks and Resorts confirmed the suspension but declined to elaborate on the cause or duration of the closure.

The fountain had previously returned on October 1, 2025, after a five-month renovation and upgrade period, drawing crowds eager to witness the spectacular show once again. Following its reopening, the attraction featured daily morning and evening performances, with schedules varying depending on the day of the week. At present, there is still no official announcement regarding when the fountain might be back in action, leaving visitors uncertain about the possibility of witnessing its mesmerizing displays.

The fountain's prior closure, which lasted five months, began in May 2025 and primarily involved tiling, water insulation, and other maintenance work before its October 2025 relaunch.
