Cast your vote for Prep Athlete of the Week, Sept. 22-25

The Tribune is accepting votes for the Prep Athlete of the Week, scheduled for the week of September 22-25. This week's poll features four girls' and boys' athletes, including last week's nominees. Each week, two girls and two boys are nominated, and voters select the winner through an online poll.

Nominations for future Athlete of the Week competitions can be submitted to sports reporter Grady Higgins via email at ghiggins@greatfallstribune.com. Voting for this week's poll will remain open until Friday, September 25, at 11:59 p.m. The winners will be revealed in the upcoming week's Athlete of the Week article.

The athletes up for consideration this week include:

- Van Shockley from Bozeman High School, who demonstrated strong line play in their recent football victory over Bozeman Gallatin.

- Kayden Davison from Great Falls High School, recognized as a playmaker by the boys' Athlete of the Week nominees.

- Ryland Crane, a senior from Great Falls High School's cross-country team, who secured third place at the Havre Invite, contributing to the Bison's third-place team finish.

- Grant Golik from CMR High School's golf team, who placed fourth at the Billings Invite, shooting 149 (69-80) as the Rustlers claimed victory in the tournament.

- Liam Buffington from Great Falls High School's soccer team, who scored two goals against Billings Skyview.

- Jack Pinski from CMR High School's golf team, who topped the field at the Bozeman Invite, posting a 142 (67-75) over 18 holes.
