Bhopal Ganesh Visarjan: Bhopal Ke Raja Head For Immersion With Dhol & Devotees On Dol Gyaras

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: The annual Dol Gyaras procession is currently in full swing, with devotees and idols en route to the immersion site. Processional drums and Dols, along with traditional religious chants, fill the air as the procession moves through Bhopal's Old City. At noon, the parade commenced from near Peepal Jama Masjid at Peepal Chowk, drawing a sizable crowd along the way.

The idols of 'Bhopal ke Raja' and 'Dulhe Raja' are leading the procession, with many devotees following in their wake, raising religious slogans as they pass by various landmarks. Ghats have been cleaned and painted, and safety measures including divers, fire-brigade teams, and crane machines have been deployed to ensure a secure immersion.

The procession is set to make its way from Chowk Bazar through a series of destinations, including Lakherapura, Bhawani Mandir, Peer Gate, Sarafa Chowk, and Khatlapura Mandir, where the Ganesh immersion will take place. Administration has taken stringent security measures and traffic modifications have been made to accommodate the procession, with several roads temporarily closed or restricted and additional personnel deployed to manage crowds and traffic flow.
