Ambassador of State of Qatar in Riyadh congratulates Saudi leadership on National Day

Qatar's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Bandar bin Mohammed al-Attiyah, extended heartfelt congratulations to King Salman, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi government, and its citizens on the Kingdom's 96th National Day. In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), al-Attiyah expressed pride in the strong fraternal ties between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are built on brotherhood, kinship, and a shared destiny.

He praised the continuing efforts of the Saudi leadership, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, King Salman, and Crown Prince Prince Mohammed, in elevating relations between the two nations and fostering joint cooperation while strengthening coordination and integration. The ambassador highlighted the wise and responsible approach of the Saudi leadership in addressing the region's challenges and emphasized the importance of reason, dialogue, and diplomacy to ensure regional security and stability.

He noted that Qatar and Saudi Arabia maintain close coordination and cooperation based on their shared belief in unifying efforts and positions on regional issues, rejecting any aggression against any party's territory, sovereignty, or security. Al-Attiyah stressed that the solidarity between the two countries is evident in their response to attacks and their support for each other's efforts to de-escalate tensions, particularly between Iran and the United States.

He also highlighted the Kingdom's condemnation of attacks launched from Iranian, Iraqi, and Yemeni territories and the State of Qatar's solidarity in confronting any threats to its security and sovereignty. Al-Attiyah concluded by wishing the Kingdom continued progress and achievements under Vision 2030, promising a brighter future with broader horizons of development, improved quality of life, and a distinguished presence at regional and international levels.
