Where is Georgia football in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll?

Georgia football is currently ranked No. 2 in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, released on Sunday, September 20. The Bulldogs maintain their position after their dominant 45-17 victory over Arkansas. The top five teams in the poll have remained unchanged, with Texas leading the pack, followed by Notre Dame, Indiana, and Miami. The rest of the rankings experienced significant changes due to an undefeated Ole Miss jumping three spots to No. 6, LSU falling four spots to No. 11, Ohio State dropping one to No. 7, and BYU climbing four positions to No. 9.

Meanwhile, Texas A&M plummeted 12 spots to No. 20, SMU slipped nine spots to No. 25, while Louisville surged eight spots to No. 19, and Houston and Virginia were eliminated from the rankings. Georgia secured 16 first-place votes this week, up from 15 last week, and currently finds itself in second place in the US LBM Coaches Poll, trailing only Texas, who remains undefeated with a 3-0 record.

In the Associated Press poll, Georgia and Texas maintain their second-place positions, with Texas holding the top spot again.
