Vote for the SouthCoast Boys Athlete of the Week for Sept. 14-20

The weekly competition for the SouthCoast Boys Athlete of the Week continues with a diverse array of performances across various sports. In cross country, Apponequet's Jackson Nardi claimed first place overall after a strong showing against Old Rochester and Bourne. Bishop Stang's Brennen Vane secured first place in a meet against Fairhaven and second place against Cardinal Spellman.

Dartmouth's Mason Orlacchio came in second place after a win against New Bedford. Old Colony's Thallon Andrade emerged as the standout performer in a victory over Holbrook. Old Rochester's Ryan Calderone finished in second place after a strong performance in a tri-meet against Apponequet and Bourne.

In boys soccer, Apponequet's Davis Holland led the team with 1 goal and 1 assist after a win over Somerset Berkley. Josiah Santos contributed a combined 2 goals in two games for Apponequet. Bishop Stang's Jake Fernandes made 12 saves in a pair of games and recorded his first shutout against Durfee. Tiago Pais scored the lone goal for Bishop Stang in a 1-0 win over Durfee.

Dartmouth's Caleb DaSilva and Kolin DaSilva both contributed with a combined 6 goals and 1 assist in two games, with the latter scoring 1 goal and 1 assist in a win over Bridgewater-Raynham. Fairhaven's Dan Burgess led the team with a combined 4 goals, including a hat trick against Case, while Matt De Medeiros added 3 goals and 3 assists in two games.

Fairhaven's Jackson Hooley recorded his third shutout in four games after a 5-0 win over Seekonk. New Bedford's Flavio Martins and Marvin Tavares each had 3 goals and 1 assist in a win over Bridgewater-Raynham, respectively. Old Rochester's Owen Harrington and Grady Oliveira both pulled off shutouts, with Harrington recording a second shutout overall and Oliveira securing his first against Somerset Berkley. Wareham's Jackson Cabe scored his sixth goal of the season in a 1-1 tie with Rising Tide.
