4-star PG Javion Tyndale commits to Seton Hall

Four-star point guard Javion Tyndale has committed to Seton Hall, according to Rivals. The 5-foot-8 senior from Montverde Academy (FL) opted for the Pirates over St. Bonaventure, receiving offers from Loyola Chicago, Providence, Seton Hall, UNLV, and West Virginia. When asked about his decision, Tyndale stated, "I felt like it was the right fit for me," praising Coach Holloway for being "one of the best small guards to play the game," which would be an honor to learn from.

Tyndale attributes his trust in the coaching staff to their consistent communication throughout the EYBL season, showing he was a priority for their program. The senior described himself as a guard who only seeks to win at a high level. He expressed his excitement about joining Seton Hall, stating, "To Seton Hall fans, get ready.

I'm coming in ready to work, compete, and bring energy every single time I step on the court." Tyndale, ranked No. 58 overall and No. 20 in the point guard category for the 2027 class, led Canada to gold at the FIBA U18 AmeriCup, averaging 12.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game. He also helped UPlay Canada achieve a 2-1 record on the Nike EYBL Circuit, shooting 51.7 percent from the field in their two wins.
