vivo X500 Series Launched With 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro and a 200MP Telephoto on the Pro Max

The vivo X500 series, featuring three camera-focused flagship phones, has been launched in China. The lineup includes the X500, the X500 Pro, and the newest X500 Pro Max. Alongside the phones, vivo is also introducing the Watch 6 smartwatch and Buds Clip earphones. The X500 Pro and Pro Max are the first phones in China to be officially announced with MediaTek's 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.

The X500 Pro Max stands out with its standout 200MP telephoto camera, boasting a 400mm equivalent teleconverter. It's the first phone to feature a ZEISS 200MP APO super telephoto camera, built around Samsung's HP0 sensor. The X500 Pro also has a ZEISS APO super telephoto camera, based on a Sony LYTIA 610 sensor, with 64MP resolution.

Both Pro models come with a new ZEISS Ultra Dynamic main camera, sporting a 1/1.28 inch sensor, CIPA 7.0 stabilization, and VCS 4.0. The Pro Max's camera offers 3-degree large angle and gimbal-grade stabilization. The company claims a 17EV dynamic range, 4K 240fps slow motion, and 4K 120fps HDR video recording. It also includes split track color grading with six cinematic color styles and dedicated movie shooting mode.

The X500 Pro series utilizes two self-developed imaging chips, V3+ and VS1, while the Dimensity 9600 Pro powers general performance. The X500 Pro boasts a 6.59-inch 1.5K display, Dimensity 9600M chipset, and a 7,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The Pro Max features a 6.85-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and has a 7,000mAh to 8,000mAh battery.
