US media outlets to sue Trump administration after White House ban

Three major US news organizations, CNN, MSNBC, and Politico, have announced they will file a lawsuit against the White House following a ban on their journalists from entering the presidential complex. This development comes after President Donald Trump claimed that media critical of his administration poses a threat to national security and is likening it to a "Cancer" that must be stopped.

In a joint statement, CNN, MSNBC, and Politico expressed their intention to sue the White House to protect their First Amendment rights and defend the principle that the government does not dictate the press's reporting or publishing. The outlets stated that their journalist credentials were revoked without notice or process due to the White House's objection to their reporting.

Trump, in a series of tweets, reiterated his stance that the media is "growing like cancer" and is a "threat to our National Security." He accused the media of reporting "FICTION and LIES" about his administration and warned that other outlets could face similar bans in the future. Despite not elaborating on the reasons behind the ban, Trump emphasized the need to address the issue and prevent the media from constantly publishing falsehoods about the presidency.
