SZABMU Releases MDCAT Answer Key 2026

On September 20, 2026, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) unveiled the official MDCAT 2026 answer key following the completion of the examination. Candidates were advised to compare their own responses with the official key to estimate their anticipated MDCAT scores. In total, SZABMU accepted applications from 5,964 individuals for the MDCAT 2026 examination, with test-takers located in Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and an international testing center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, on September 18, the university had made available the MDCAT 2026 seating arrangement, disclosing the specific examination centers for each participant. The Pakistan Ministry of Defense and Cooperation (PM&DC) had additionally announced special examination provisions for candidates from Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Islamabad.

The MDCAT test commenced at 10:00 AM and was set to run for a total of three hours, consisting of 180 multiple-choice questions. Each question paper was crafted according to the prescribed examination blueprint. To access the official MDCAT 2026 answer key, students needed to navigate to the university's admission portal and select the key corresponding to the code printed on their question paper.

SZABMU provided individual answer keys for four distinct codes: Code 1, Code 2, Code 3, and Code 4. By comparing their marked responses with the appropriate key, candidates could tally the number of correct answers and derive their projected MDCAT scores.
