Sidharth Malhotra’s Vvan accused of plagiarism: ‘Used my song without permission’

Independent artist Sargam Vaish has accused the makers of the film 'The Van Van' of using a section of her song 'Aigiri Nandini' without permission. In a post on Instagram, Sargam stated that the makers used her song for 25 seconds in the film's trailer, which was recently released. She shared proofs of her rendition, mentioning that the song was used from 1 minute 8 seconds to 1 minute 33 seconds.

Sargam expressed her concern about the use of her master file, production, and vocals as they are. She threatened legal action if the issue is not resolved, mentioning that she has signed a deal with a big label. Her allegations come after another artist, Rapperiya Balam, accused the makers of 'Mirzapur' of using his song 'Shoorveer' without consent.
