Reports suggest that Pagare, who previously worked for a finance company and was acquainted with vehicle loans, offered to assist her in obtaining a loan. He requested Adsul to share her Aadhaar card, PAN card, and bank passbook details via WhatsApp. Once in possession of the documents, Mujawar allegedly utilized them to purchase the mobile phone.
Adsul became aware of the transaction subsequently and confronted Mujawar, who allegedly offered to compensate her with ₹40,000, took the phone back, but neither returned the phone nor paid the promised amount.
