“People are doing things they never imagined” -Nedu speaks on rising cost of living in Nigeria

Popular media figure Nedu Wazobia has voiced his concerns over the escalating cost of living in Nigeria, painting a picture of survival being a daily ordeal for many citizens. In a recent video, Nedu shed light on the soaring expenses associated with necessities like school fees, house rent, food, transportation, fuel, and healthcare.

According to him, the financial strain faced by Nigerians who receive salaries makes it challenging for them to make ends meet. He also pointed out that the tough economic conditions have driven some individuals to undertake actions they never thought possible in their quest to survive. "People are doing things they never imagined they would do, hurting people, betraying people, cutting corners, not necessarily because they were born wicked but because survival has become a daily battle in this country," Nedu remarked.

He expressed his hope for an economy where hard work translates to tangible benefits, enabling parents to provide for their children without stress and ordinary Nigerians to wake up with less fear and more hope. Nedu's remarks follow a surge in public discussions regarding inflation and the increasing costs of basic necessities, which many Nigerians claim continue to exert pressure on their everyday lives.
