Pakistan airstrike kills 3 in Afghanistan, Taliban warns of ‘crushing response’

Pakistan launched targeted airstrikes against terrorist camps and hideouts located in the border region adjacent to Afghanistan, resulting in the death of over 28 terrorists, according to the country's information ministry. The ministry emphasized that these "calibrated" strikes were specifically aimed at the safe havens and hideouts of terrorist organizations, who were responsible for recent multiple terrorist attacks in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In addition to the airstrikes, the ministry reported that a "well-planned intelligence-based ground operation" was conducted around Kohat, Hangu, and Thal, further targeting these terrorist strongholds. Based on credible intelligence, the strikes were executed with precision and accuracy, targeting specific "Fitna al Khawarij" and its affiliates' camps and hideouts.

As a result of the operation, three targets were destroyed, including a suicide bombers' training center, leading to the deaths of 28 terrorists and the destruction of multiple suicide bombers. Moreover, large quantities of weapons and ammunition stored at these centers and hideouts were also eliminated.
