N. Korea urges timely rice harvest to meet economic targets

The paper also expressed satisfaction with this year's harvest, attributing its success to advancements in agricultural mechanization. In February, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un unveiled the country's new five-year economic plan at a significant party congress, with a strong focus on agricultural mechanization to boost crop yields.
