Islamabad Residents Can Now Pay Property Tax, Water Bills Through PAK App

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have introduced online payment facilities for civic services via the PAK App, according to a press release. This development enables residents and businesses to access services through their mobile devices, eliminating the need to visit government offices for routine applications and payments.

The services available through the app encompass advertising and open-space permissions, parking permits, generator licenses, and municipal approvals. Each service has its specific requirements, and authorities plan to expand digital accessibility over time. Users can submit applications and documents, monitor application status, and make payments through digital channels directly via the app.

The system will also maintain electronic records of applications, approvals, and transactions. Additionally, the platform will facilitate complaint registration and tracking. The CDA and MCI see this as part of a broader strategy to transition Islamabad's civic services towards cashless, contactless, and paperless delivery, enhancing convenience and efficiency for residents.
