Großes SUV: Skoda Peaq nimmt sieben auf einen Streich

Skoda Peaq, the first seven-seat SUV from the VW Group, is set to hit the charging station. The Czech automaker promises to unveil the Peaq later this year, with a price tag of at least 49,900 Euros, which is a 6,000 Euro premium over the Enyaq, its current top model. The length and wheelbase of the Peaq will be increased by around 20 centimeters, reaching 4.87 meters and 2.96 meters respectively.

This expansion creates space for an additional third row of seats, though this feature is optional and more suited for children rather than adults. The Peaq's spacious interior offers ample room for luggage, with 935 liters of cargo capacity behind the rear seat, and the front trunk housing the Peaq and charger. Skoda claims the Peaq will achieve a range of up to 640 kilometers, using three powertrain options and two battery sizes: 150 kW/204 PS or 210 kW/286 PS with front-wheel drive, and 220 kW/299 PS with all-wheel drive, with 63 or 91 kWh batteries.

The Peaq is expected to offer rapid charging capabilities, reaching 80% charge in just half a minute at a maximum power output of 200 kW, and a top speed of 180 km/h, with a 0-100 km/h sprint taking around 6.7 seconds.
