Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan appointed Black Stars clubs and player relations manager

Ghana and Panama have formalized their bilateral political consultations through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New York. The agreement, brokered by Ghana's representative Samuel Okudzeto and Panama's Minister of Foreign Affairs Javier Eduardo Martínez-Acha Vásquez, aims to establish a framework for enhancing collaboration in various sectors.

The MoU's focus is anticipated to be on maritime affairs, cocoa production, trade enhancement, and mutual technical support in the extractive industry. According to Okudzeto, this agreement not only deepens relations but also opens avenues for expanded economic and technical cooperation. The diplomat playfully remarked on the recent football match between the two nations, noting their reconciliation following Ghana's Black Stars' triumph at the World Cup.

The signing of the MoU signifies a new chapter in the diplomatic ties between Ghana and Panama, with both nations aiming to broaden their cooperation beyond political dialogues into areas such as trade, maritime affairs, agriculture, and the extractive sectors.
