Ekurhuleni murders: 9th victim appears linked to love triangle

The deputy national police commissioner for policing in Ekurhuleni, Tebello Mosikili, revealed that the ninth victim found in Villa Liza, Boksburg, appears to be connected to a love triangle. Jabulile Ntimba's body was discovered last Thursday. The police have identified three suspects, consisting of two women and a man, who will face the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on Monday for their alleged involvement in the murder.

Mosikili addressed the media, expressing her belief in South Africa's sufficient law enforcement capacity to handle the increasing cases of gender-based violence (GBV). She further confirmed that a tenth body had been discovered in Soweto over the weekend. She highlighted the presence of forensic, data, and fingerprint specialists working diligently on the investigation into recent murders of women in and around Ekurhuleni.
