Dubai Health rolls out new parking system, starting with Rashid Hospital

Dubai Health has launched a new smart parking management system at its facilities, with Rashid Hospital as the inaugural location. The system is being implemented under an agreement with Parkin Company, following input from patients and visitors. During their visits, patients, including those receiving emergency care or undergoing treatment, will continue to receive complimentary parking.

Visitors and two companions of admitted patients will be granted free parking for up to three hours daily, with extensions as needed. People of Determination, senior citizens, and pregnant women will also enjoy valet parking upon verification. Hospital staff and authorized vehicles will be registered in the system for streamlined access.

Regular parking fees will apply to non-visitors, with a 30-minute grace period each day for incoming and outgoing vehicles. Dubai Health introduced the system in response to patient feedback, aiming to enhance access across its facilities using smart digital solutions. Parkin Company will manage the operations and deploy digital technologies at Dubai Health facilities, optimizing space utilization and improving the patient experience.
