Commanders' fans, others react to Jayden Daniels' injury vs. Cowboys

The Washington Commanders faced a disappointing 17-20 defeat to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, largely due to an unfortunate injury to their quarterback, Jayden Daniels. With just three seconds remaining in the first half, the Commanders opted for a touchdown play instead of a field goal, but left guard Chris Paul inadvertently stepped on Daniels' foot while attempting to block, causing the left guard to dislocate his elbow.

Daniels was forced to leave the game, marking his second dislocation of the same elbow in the past year, this time after previously dislocating it in November.

The online reaction to Daniels' injury was overwhelmingly negative, with many doctors and experts suggesting that not having surgery last year may have contributed to the recurrence of the injury.

Some suggested that Daniels might need surgery again to stabilize his elbow and avoid future dislocations. However, even with a successful surgery, there could be a high risk of recurrence. Despite the setback, there is hope that Daniels may return to the starting lineup for the Commanders next season.
