Presley Gerber, the model and son of renowned supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has passed away at the age of 27. His death occurred on Sunday while he was under the care of a rehabilitation facility, as reported by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The cause of death remains undetermined, and a post-mortem examination is yet to be conducted.

The confirmation of his demise was made by Crawford, Gerber, and their daughter Kaia through a statement to TMZ. They expressed their need for privacy during this incredibly challenging and distressing period. Born in 1999, Gerber was the eldest child and only son of the couple. His younger sister, Kaia, who turned 25 in the same year, followed in their mother's footsteps by pursuing a career in modeling and has also made strides as an actress.

Gerber embarked on his fashion journey as a teenager, making his debut on the runway for Moschino in 2016. He furthered his career by collaborating with prestigious fashion houses and brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger. He also made a notable appearance in campaigns alongside his sister Kaia. In 2018, Gerber paid homage to his mother's iconic 1992 Pepsi commercial by recreating it for the Super Bowl, showcasing his continued presence in the fashion world.

In recent times, Gerber had been open about his mental health struggles and substance use issues. He leveraged his social media platforms to share his experiences with depression and panic attacks, initiating a series of videos titled Mental Health Mondays. In these videos, he aimed to candidly discuss his own battles in the hope of providing support to others.

Kaia echoed similar sentiments in an interview with Vogue published in August, describing her brother's addiction as a struggle that had impacted the entire family. She emphasized that such events level everyone when they occur within a family.
