Manchester United manager Michael Carrick remains optimistic about the team's prospects for the season following a frustrating 1-1 draw with Fulham. Carrick acknowledged the frustration of not securing a victory, but expressed confidence in the team's ability to improve and turn their fortunes around. He highlighted the positive response from his players after falling behind, as they continued to attack and eventually equalized.
Carrick pointed to several unfortunate moments throughout the season, such as late goals and controversial incidents, but emphasized that United must focus on areas where they can enhance their performance. The draw comes as United prepares for a lengthy break from club football, allowing Carrick to reflect on the opening part of the campaign before his team returns from international duty.
Despite the disappointment, Carrick believes the upcoming fixtures will provide an important opportunity for his squad to build momentum and suggests that United can have a good season.
