BASIN SPORTS SCHEDULE: Sept. 21-28, 2026

Sept. 21 marked the beginning of the high school sports season in the basin, with cooler temperatures setting in as the athletes push through their respective seasons. The Moses Lake High School Football team started their week on Sept. 25, hosting Wenatchee at 7 p.m., while the Lind Ritzville Football team took on Asotin on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m. The Moses Lake Christian Academy Volleyball squad faced Waterville-Mansfield on Sept. 24 at 6:15 p.m., and Sept. 28 at DeSales, both at 6:15 p.m.

In other matches, the Ephrata Football team faced Othello on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m., while the Ephrata Volleyball team played Ellensburg on Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. and Quincy on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. The Moses Lake High School Slow Pitch team had games on Sept. 22 at 3:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., as well as Sept. 23 at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Moses Lake Christian Academy Volleyball team concluded their week on Sept. 28 at DeSales, at 6:15 p.m. The Royal Football team took on Zillah on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m., while the Soap Lake Football team had no games this week. The Warden Football team faced Wahluke on Sept. 25 at 7 p.m., and Wahluke had a game against Warden on Sept.

25 at 7 p.m. The Warden Volleyball team won their games on Sept. 22 against Columbia (Burbank) at 6:30 p.m. and Sept. 24 against Mabton at 6:30 p.m. The Wilson Creek Volleyball team faced Bridgeport on Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. and Oroville on Sept. 24 at 6 p.m. Lastly, the Signal High School Cross Country teams competed in various meets throughout the week, with some scheduled for multiple dates.
