Marine macroalgae host endophytic microbial communities that serve as valuable reservoirs for drug discovery. In this study, the endophytic actinomycete Streptomyces sp. UL09 was isolated from the internal thallus tissues of the green macroalga Ulva rigida C. Agardh.
