Adamawa APM gov candidate picks ex-NNPCL manager as running mate

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has selected Safriel Glah, a retired senior executive from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), as the running mate for their gubernatorial candidate Abdulrahman Haske in the 2027 Adamawa state election. The party announced the choice during a media briefing in Abuja. Glah's selection aims to combine Haske's private-sector experience with her extensive public-sector and oil and gas industry experience.

Haske emphasized that Glah's decision was based on competency, integrity, experience, and a proven record of service. He praised Glah's distinguished career, highlighting her excellence, discipline, professionalism, and selfless service. The APM's national chairman, Yusuf Dantalle, and the state chairman, Badejo Bello, both endorsed the Haske-Glah ticket, praising the combination of private-sector expertise and public-sector experience.

Glah, a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, spent over 34 years in the oil and gas sector before retiring as General Manager and Head of Environment, Health, Safety, and Environment at NNPCL. She was recognized for her work in engineering, sustainability, leadership development, and community service. During her acceptance of the nomination, Glah expressed gratitude for the confidence shown in her and reaffirmed her commitment to the ticket and the people of Adamawa.
