Two brothers set ablaze by illegal fuel sellers in Faisalabad

Two Qadir brothers, Nadeem and Hafiz, were allegedly set alight by illegal petrol sellers near Faisalabad's Nullah Wala Bypass on Saturday. The brothers had purchased fuel from an unauthorized vendor, leading to a confrontation over the inflated price. The fuel dealers, Haider Ali, Muhammad Wasim, and Hammad Malik, are said to have attacked the Qadirs with petrol and set them ablaze.

Onlookers managed to douse the flames and transport the injured Qadirs to Chak Jhumra THQ Hospital, where they were later referred to Faisalabad's Allied Hospital for specialized treatment. The perpetrators fled the scene on a motorcycle, and police are actively searching for them. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old girl, Maira Rauf, was rescued by Faisalabad Balochni police after being abducted by a college teacher, Syed Asif Raza, in Mandi Yazman, Bahawalpur.

The incident occurred on September 5th. In another incident, a tragic head-on collision between a trailer and a pick-up on Lahore-Jaranwala Road claimed the lives of two individuals and critically injured another. The victims, Muhammad Akram and Sunny Khan, succumbed to their injuries at Nankana Sahib DHQ Hospital. The injured, Nazim Ali, was airlifted to the same hospital.

Additionally, the FIA in Faisalabad apprehended Hassan Ali Bughdadi for his role in a human trafficking ring responsible for smuggling people to Iran and Iraq. Lastly, the Faisalabad Khurrianwala police concluded the blind murder of motorcycle rickshaw driver Imdad Hussain, who was found dead in July. His close friend, Zahid Hussain, confessed to the crime after being taken into custody.
