Transportation Safety Board investigating after two pilots found dead near Regina

Two pilots from a Manitoba-based flying school and air taxi provider were discovered dead near Regina on Friday, according to Harv’s Air. The aircraft they were traveling in, a Cessna 172, was on a night flight from Regina to Steinbach, Manitoba. Search efforts commenced when the plane failed to arrive on time, and the wreckage was found the following evening near Kisbey, southeast of Regina.

Harv’s Air president, Adam Penner, expressed shock and sorrow over the tragedy, stating that both pilots had close connections to the flying school and its instructors. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has been informed and has dispatched a team to investigate the cause of the pilots' deaths.
