Russia’s election commission says five parties are on track to enter the State Duma. Ruling United Russia had 57.19% with results in from more than a third of precincts.

Russia’s Central Election Commission has announced that five political parties are likely to secure seats in the State Duma following partial results from over a third of the voting precincts. United Russia, the ruling party, has secured 57.19% of the vote from federal party lists. The Communist Party trails with 13.85%, while the Liberal Democratic Party holds 9.16% and New People stands at 8.01%.

The A Just Russia party has also crossed the 5% threshold, garnering 5.23% of the vote. The commission revealed that United Russia candidates are leading in 161 out of the 225 single-mandate districts. The State Duma comprises 450 seats, with half allocated based on federal party lists and the other half determined by single-mandate district results.
