Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center wins medals at Egyphila Stamp Exhibition

The Qatar Philatelic and Numismatic Center of the Ministry of Culture secured several top international medals at the Egyphila stamp exhibition held in Cairo from September 17th to 19th. The event gathered philatelic societies from across the Arab world, alongside individual collectors and enthusiasts. Represented by a group of Qatari stamp and coin collectors, the center's entries received high evaluations from a panel of elite international judges.

The Postal History of Bahrain exhibit earned a Gilt medal (G), while the Postal History of Qatar: From Sheikhdom to State (1930-1963) secured a Large Gilt medal (LV). The History of Nejd and Hejaz Stamps (1925-1926) also achieved a Large Gilt medal (LV), and the History of Libya Stamps won a Gilt medal (V). Meanwhile, the Lebanon Covers Held During World War II exhibit was awarded a Large Gilt medal (LV).

The center's mission is to promote and elevate the standards of stamp and coin collecting, providing members with the resources to pursue this hobby. Additionally, the center actively participates in international and regional exhibitions across the philatelic community.
