Prince Harry published his memoir "Spare," which sold over 1.4 million copies on its first day. Meghan launched her lifestyle brand "As Ever," with its first product selling out within minutes. Meghan also landed a role in the Netflix legal drama "Suits," which received critical acclaim.

The couple's combined estimated net worth is around $60 million, with Harry's wealth coming from his inheritance at 40 and Meghan's earnings from her successful career. They were reportedly surprised by the King's decision to classify them as private citizens and not working members of the royal family. Should they be recognized as public figures, it could bolster Harry's claim that his family faces significant security risks that do not apply to ordinary private individuals.
