“It’s early” – Maresca after Man City move clear at the top of the table

Man City boss Enzo Maresca has stated that it is still early days despite his team moving three points clear at the top of the Premier League table. Arsenal's defeat to Brighton yesterday left City as the only team to win all five of their opening games. The English club defeated Sunderland 5-3 at home ahead of the international break.

Maresca emphasized the importance of winning games, stating that the team would rather have three more points than fewer. He acknowledged that they are still early in the season, saying, "At the same time, we know that it's quite early." Maresca highlighted the variety of experiences his team has faced in their seven games so far.

He mentioned that they faced ten players against United and also had a losing game against Bournemouth. Despite these different outcomes, Maresca believes that the team has won the games and can learn valuable lessons from them.
