Pemimpin PAS beritahu DAP ‘jangan banyak sangat berlakon’

According to PAS leader Ahmad Fadhli Shaari, the posthumous pardon for former Prime Minister Najib Razak should be respected under Article 42 of the Federal Constitution, rather than being politicized. Fadhli questioned the decision of DAP Secretary-General Loke Siew Fook to vacate the position of Transport Minister while retaining other ministerial roles.

He asked why only one leader acted in this manner if the entire DAP remains in the government. "If DAP still stays in the government, what significance does this have beyond a political stunt to appear as if they are opposing?" Fadhli posted on Facebook yesterday, urging Loke to retract his statement and for the DAP body to take action.

Meanwhile, Fadhli also questioned the desire of DAP women to have the pardon committee's meeting minutes revealed, while Ministry of Prime Minister's Department (Federal Territory) Hannah Yeoh, a DAP member, is a member of that committee. "Why hasn't anyone asked for transparency in the meeting minutes when Anwar Ibrahim was granted full pardons in 2018 before any ministers were appointed?"

Fadhli asked. He emphasized that pardon authority should be consistently respected under Article 42 of the Federal Constitution and not question it based on current political circumstances. "Don't overact; otherwise, the script will be misread. An ABCDEFGHI script will be misread as ABCDEFGLC. The people are not helpless in understanding this political nonsense."
