Packers’ Jayden Reed and Zach Bako-Bewele carted off on consecutive plays vs Jets

(AP) — Wide receiver Jayden Reed and right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele of the Green Bay Packers were taken off the field on stretchers after sustaining injuries during the opening drive of Sunday's game against the New York Jets. The first annual payment for a one-year subscription is $205.00 plus GST. On the Packers' second offensive play, Reed caught a short pass from quarterback Jordan Love and was violently hit by defensive end Demario Davis. The injury was severe and Reed quickly went down, writhing in pain and lying face down on the turf. Packers medical personnel and trainers rushed to the scene and Reed was swiftly loaded onto a stretcher and carted off the field. The Packers sideline, many members kneeling and praying, surrounded Reed in support.

Later, on Bako-Bewele's first play, the right tackle blocked Jets rookie pass rusher David Bailey. Bako-Bewele was injured when he hit the ground and was quickly attended to by the medical staff. Unlike Reed, who was unconscious, Bako-Bewele remained conscious and waved to teammates as he was driven inside the stadium. Both players were ruled out for the remainder of the game.
