Mumbai Coastal Road Crash: CCTV Captures Speeding BMW Ramming Railing Before Plunging Off Flyover, Flipping Several Times Mid-Air; 3 Killed

A heart-wrenching video emerged from Mumbai’s Coastal Road, depicting a fatal collision involving a high-speed BMW that struck a railing and crashed into the flyover below. The footage, shared widely on social media, unfolded early Sunday morning. The black BMW, identified by its registration number DD-01-C-6302, breached the railing on the northbound section near Lala College and Lotus Jetty.

According to Mumbai Police, the incident occurred around 5:03 am on September 20 as the vehicle journeyed from Marine Drive towards Haji Ali. Four individuals were injured in the incident and were swiftly transported to Nair Hospital. However, all three victims succumbed to their injuries, while a fourth person remains in critical condition under medical treatment.

Authorities are now investigating the reasons behind the BMW’s high-speed crash and the subsequent plunge from the flyover bridge.
