Lokesh inaugurates two government schools renovated under P4 model in Nellore

Education Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated two government schools, RSR High School and Devireddy Sarada High School, in Nellore under the Public-Private-People Partnership (P4) model. The event marked his tour of the SPSR Nellore district. Both schools, located in Stonehousepet and Mulapet respectively, received a grand welcome from various local leaders, including Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister Ponguru Narayana, TDP MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanthi Reddy, and others.

Under the P4 initiative, 15 government schools in the city are being modernized using CSR funds, with special facilities such as digital classrooms, LED screens, modern restrooms, language labs, and labs for various subjects. RSR High School was renovated at a cost of ₹8.3 crore, while Devireddy Sarada High School received ₹13.40 crore from DSR Group's CSR funds. The inauguration ceremony saw Lokesh interacting with students, inspecting classrooms and laboratories, and discussing the quality of midday meals.

The Minister expressed dissatisfaction with low student attendance and directed officials to focus on learning outcomes and increased enrolments. He also urged students to excel in Class X examinations. Following the school inauguration, Lokesh unveiled a statue of former Chief Minister and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao in Kovur, participating in local festivities and meeting TDP cadre members.
