Iran's Supreme Parliamentary Speaker, Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, has reopened the Hormuz Strait after the US fulfills all conditions, stating that there will be no return to previous negotiation levels unless this happens, according to the state news agency, Irna. Iran's positions are clear and non-negotiable. Iran's chief security coordinator, Mohsen Resai, had previously signaled readiness to end the war with the US based on the June framework agreement.

The Secretary-General of Iran's powerful National Security Council, in a conversation with the Arab TV channel Al Jazeera, listed seven prerequisites. Iran's security coordinator demands seven conditions from the US, including freeing frozen assets, ending the war on all fronts, and lifting the blockade on Iranian ports and ships.

Iran's leadership also demands that Washington not interfere in the country's internal affairs. These points are based on the June agreement, which should pave the way for a permanent deal. Resai also demanded that the US fulfill all conditions before any further negotiations, which will then also concern the future of Iran's nuclear program.
