How to get Federal High Court affidavit online without visiting court

The Federal High Court in Nigeria has introduced an electronic system known as the Electronic Court Management System (ECMS) e-Affidavit Portal, allowing citizens to obtain affidavits online without visiting court premises. This fully digital platform enables applicants to register, complete necessary forms, upload documents, make payments, and download a verified affidavit from any location with an internet connection. The portal operates under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.

To apply for an affidavit, applicants are first required to create an account and provide personal details such as full name, phone number, date of birth, email address, and password. Upon logging in, users can select the appropriate affidavit category, including name changes, date of birth corrections, loss or incidents, identity and personal matters, marriage, banking, or general purpose affidavits.

The portal then guides applicants through filling out the relevant application form, providing necessary documents, and reviewing their application before submitting it. After payment and approval, applicants can download the completed affidavit.
