Commanders QB Jayden Daniels injures the same left elbow he dislocated last year

Arlington, Texas (AP) — Jayden Daniels, the Washington Commanders quarterback, was taken off on a cart and ruled out for the game after suffering a severe injury to his left elbow during a botched play against Dallas on Sunday. The injury occurred as Daniels attempted to brace himself on a fall, causing his left elbow to bend abnormally and subsequently throwing an incomplete pass with time expiring.

This marks the second elbow injury Daniels has experienced in a single season, following a dislocated left elbow last November that kept him out of all but one game of the second half.
