Civic groups enter Fezile Dabi LGE26 race

Political groups in the Fezile Dabi region are entering the upcoming LGE26 race due to escalating dissatisfaction with service delivery, accountability, and municipal governance, according to civic movements. Victor Nyembe, leader of Lentswe la Setjhaba, and April Motaung, founder of the Fezile Dabi Civic Movement, argue that their parties aim to bring about change and address the pressing issues affecting their communities.

The primary objective of Lentswe la Setjhaba Civic Movement is to inject capacity into the community, with a significant portion of councillors lacking a matric certificate, posing a risk to the municipality. April Motaung asserts that politicians often talk but fail to act, which fuels the existence of these civic movements striving to give the people a voice.
