Chinese semiconductor company Changxin Memory Technologies (CXMT) unveiled its latest generation chip manufacturing platform, labeled G5, at a recent convention in its home region of Hefei. CXMT claimed that G5 represents a significant improvement over existing technologies, enabling the company to produce chips at a level approaching what the wire described as the "world's most advanced mass production memory platforms".
