Bahrain football team arrives in Jeddah ahead of Gulf Cup 27

Bahrain's national football squad has touched down in Jeddah, gearing up for the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup, organized by Saudi Arabia from September 23 to October 6. The team touched base at King Abdulaziz International Airport, greeted by members of the event's organizing committee. The arrival process proceeded without a hitch before the squad relocated to their lodging, where they will commence their final preparations prior to the competition.

Bahrain intends to conduct its training regime in Jeddah, ensuring readiness for their matches in the tournament. Other Gulf nations are also making their way to the city, as delegations from Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Yemen, Bahrain, and Iraq are already present in Jeddah. The United Arab Emirates team is anticipated to arrive in the near future, rounding out the roster of participating nations.

Jeddah is currently undergoing thorough preparations to host the Gulf Cup for the first time, with organizational, technical, and logistical measures in place to welcome the sporting event, which unites teams from Gulf Cooperation Council countries, alongside Iraq and Yemen.
