3 biggest Prime Video movies and shows I can’t wait to watch in fall 2026

Fall is a favorite season for me, as the cooler weather and cozy nights make it the perfect time to curl up with a good movie or binge-watch a new show. Prime Video has a variety of releases coming to keep viewers entertained throughout the season. Among these, three titles stand out to me as must-watch content.

The first is "The Love Hypothesis," a romantic comedy based on Ali Hazelwood's bestselling novel. Starring Lili Reinhart, this film has the potential to deliver plenty of yearning, thanks to its director Claire Scanlon, known for her work on "Set It Up." The story follows Olive Smith, a Ph.D. candidate, whose life changes when she impulsively kisses her best friend’s former crush, leading to an unusual arrangement that becomes increasingly difficult to maintain. "The Love Hypothesis" hits Prime Video screens on September 23.

Second, Stephen King fans will be thrilled with the upcoming TV adaptation of "Carrie." Mike Flanagan's fourth major King adaptation follows the telekinetic teen Carrie White, played by Summer Howell, as she navigates high school, cyberbullying, and social media in the modern world. The film, directed by Flanagan himself, promises a fresh take on King's famous story and will be available on Prime Video starting October 7.

Lastly, "Blade Runner 2099" is a direct TV continuation of Ridley Scott's 1982 classic and Denis Villeneuve's "Blade Runner 2049," set 50 years into the future. This cyberpunk series follows Cora, played by Hunter Schafer, a fugitive who takes on one final identity as a Blade Runner to protect her brother. She partners with Replicant Olwen, played by Michelle Yeoh, to uncover a dangerous conspiracy that could threaten Los Angeles.

Set to premiere on Prime Video on November 25, "Blade Runner 2099" brings the franchise into a new era with its alluring visuals and intriguing storyline.
